Linda's Story
Life
Well I moved to San Diego after I graduated from I.U. in 1986, so I've been living here for over 20 years now. Wow! I love it here! It's a fantastic city with much to offer.
In 1989, I met my hubby, Lee. After 6 1/2 years of dating, we married in 1995. He's from Glenview, IL. He owns health clubs in San Diego and St. Louis. Nutrition and fitness are his passions. He's a riot, as those of you who have met him know. We have a great time together! In July of 1998 I had a baby girl. Her name is Capri (as in Italy). In February of 2000 I had a baby boy. His name is Taj (as in Taj Mahal). Then in July 2005, I had another baby boy. His name is Roman. Just like your children, they are the cutest, funniest, smartest, most cuddly things alive! We have a two loveable pug dogs named "Fiji" and "Cabo".
My career in Advertising and PR is on hold for a few years while I'm a stay-at-home mom and Birt...Expand for more
h Doula (Labor Assistant). I am with women as they labor and have their babies. I encourage women to trust in their body's ability to have a baby. It is intense work with odd, unpredictable hours, so I only attend about two births a month. This work is for my soul.
My older sister, Jill, lives here in Encinitas too with her fiance, just down the street from my family. My mom, Penny, and her husband, Dick moved to San Diego in August of 2000 to start their franchise business, Incredibly Edible Delites Fruitflowers. It too is located in Encintas. My younger sister, Jennifer, lives with her husband and two kids in Phoenix, so we see them often. My dad and his wife are moving from Plainfield, IN to Fort Mill, SC by the end of 2006. I'm happy to report that everyone is happy and healthy!
I am blessed with a great marriage and loving family. I am tremendously happy. I hope this note finds you the same.
