Brian's Story
Life
Life is fairly care free at the moment. I like my job, I play music semi-professionally, and I basically can do what I want when I want. In my spare time I build stuff, work around the house (just finished remodeling the whole damn thing), and generally try to do things outside. I rather enjoy wine all of a sudden and have started stockpiling some of it - it's a horribly addictive thing to get into. I went to Napa last year and basically plan on going at least once a year now.

School
Seems like a lifetime ago.
College
College was three things and not particularly in this order:
Playing music
Partying like an idiot
Playing music
I went to class and studied occasionally somewhere in there but the other things were much more entertaining.
Workplace
As of this day (April, 30, 2007) I've been at Microsoft for 8 years. I do consulting and support for mission critical servers. It probably sounds boring but it's actually a lot of fun. Best job perk besides the insane benefits that MS has is that I work from home 95% of the time. My commute consists of walking across the hall to my office from my bedroom. Rock.
