I've had ovarian cancer now for 5 years and am still fighting the fight. For all you woman out there don't think it can't happen to you. Make sure you know the symptoms (which are vague) - bloating, pelvic pain, back pain, constipation, fatigue, trouble eating, urinary symptoms. Also, have your doctor add a CA125 blood test to your yearly bloodwork. The doctors will question you about it - but you need to be persistent about it - this is the only test to let you know if you have ovarian cancer. ent me to doctor to doctor and finally they did a cat scan which showed something then a cat scan with contrast and the very same day I was diagnosed. It's a very costly disease - so I have a go fund me account set up to try to pay off what my insurance did not cover. If you go to gofund.me/savePat it will be save grandma fund. Thanks to everyone in advance who helps me continue my fight with this disease. I won't be able to continue my chemo treatments if I don't get any help as I've just about maxed out my charge cards for treatments that weren't covered.
