Fran's Story

Life 8-07 Living in CT (franfriel at ya hoo ... com) with my husband and my daughter (Univ. of MD, Junior in Arch). I've retired from my private practice in holistic medicine, and I've been a full-time fiction writer for the past 3 years. My first book was a finalist for the Bram Stoker Award in 2006, and I have a short story collection due for publication in 2008. And, of course, I'm working on a big far novel. I graduated from the New School of Music in Philadelphia and got married in 1982. After a couple of years as starving musicians we moved north to the US Military Academy at West Point where my husband got a permanent gig in the band. We lived the military life there for 15 years and raised a beautiful daughter together. But unfortunately, after a long struggle...Expand for more
to make it work, our marriage ended. From then I move to the Hamptons on Long Island to work - teaching, and directing seminars around the country for the Barbara Brennan School. My new (and improved) husband and I found each other on an Internet message board. He's Scottish and I moved to England to live with him for 1 1/2 years. He ultimately immigrated to the US. We've recently traded the madness of owning and maintaining a house for the madness of moving and renovating a condo by the beach. No more snow shoveling...no more leaf raking...ahh. We're almost done with renovations, and we love having the beach across the street. It's a sweet life. I hope you're all well and happy. Give me a shout sometime. I'd love to hear from you.
