My years at VDOT have been good. I've moved around from working in the Field to working in the Central Office. I've spent most of my career in the Transportation and Mobility Planning Division, working in almost every section of the Division, and working with almost every area of the state. I moved into management after completing my Masters of Science in Transportation Policy, Operations and Logistics from George Mason University in Northern Virginia. ...Expand for more
I've been a Section Manager, an Assistant Division Administrator, and the Division Administrator of Transportation and Mobility Planning Division. I serve as the State Transportation Planner. It's a great job, which I love. I get to work with a lot of very talented people both at the Central Office, the District Offices, the Metropolitian Planning Organizations, the Planning District Commissions, and local jurisdictions. I love my job, and love working at VDOT!
