Mary's Story
Life
Seems like I have been there and done that since graduation. Went to SDSU for a year then married in Nov 1972. Moved to Taiwan with my Air Force husband for a year, then 4 years in Albuquerque, NM; 3 years in Mons,Belgium and on to Washington DC. Left my husband and DC in 1986 and came home with a 4 year old and a 5 month old.
Retired from Federal Service of 41 years in July of 2019. Worked with the Navy in San Diego for the past 33 years (previous 8 years with the Air Force). Oldest daughter graduated from San Diego State University and has her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with her practice located near Tacoma,Wa. She has 2 daughters. d born in July 2022. My youngest daughter is a 3 1/2 year graduate from SDSU and has her Masters in Education. She has 3 sons, 13, 11 and 2. And as a Christmas gift I found out another baby is due on June 2023. The kids are grown and I'm out there traveling again!
For those that remember or knew my ex-husband Don (Donald P. Fisher Jr), he passed away in 1997. We always remained on good terms. He had remarried and had a son, Brandon. He lived in Alexandria, VA , and he was visiting here in California when he died. He left the fire department in 1984 and was a flight steward on Air Force Two at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland until his retirement from the Air Force.
