Lorrita's Story

What have I been up to since 1974? 1978? 1980? 1987? ????
I don't really know. Life is something that happens while you're busy doing other things. I was very busy for a few years defending this country from the Soviet Block by lying under a deuce and a half busting my knuckles. (I also left my knees somewhere between Maryland and Bavaria.) Then I went to college and had some children. Some where in there I got married, divorced and remarried. I worked long hours both in offices and at manual labor. I was the boss and the slave. Then I got really sick. Now I get to enjoy my grandchildren and play computer games. All-in-all a pretty good deal.
Life:

n't except be a pirate. I've driven truck, been a mechanic, raced cars, served in the army, and a bunch of other stuff girls weren't supposed to do in the '60s. Now I've settled into being a MEAN grandma to fourteen of the most special kids on the planet and a great-grandmother to the brightest little girl in the multiverse, at least we think so.
Russ (Russell Jones, Wa-Hi '75) would want you all to know that technically I was "Mrs. Jones" for 37 years. Until he left me for the next world on March 18, 2019. Confuses the kids and grandkids when I remind them that I'm not Grandma Morgan but Grandma Jones. The VA loses me enough as "Morgan" can you imagine what they'd do to my records as a "Jones". The VA lostRuss a bunch and confused him with other "Joneses". (He was a Marine.)
