Mike's Story
Life
My wife Jennifer and I live in Trophy Club, Tx. in the DFW area. We have two daughters, Amber and Tayler. I also have two daughters, Ashley and Apryl and one son Brandon from a previous marriage, they live in Tucson Az.
I have been in new home sales for the past few years and have currently started my own custom home business. I am still as competitive as ever and enjoy playing softball as much as I can.
School
After graduating from Abilene Cooper, I started college at Hardin Simmons in the summer of 1985 to play baseball and major in Computer Science.
I only attended summer school before joining the Air Force in August of 1985 to pursue a career and to raise a family.
Workplace
I was in the Air Force Law Enforcement career field from
1985-1995. I learned a lot about work ethic and the discipline that it takes to be successful in a career. I decided to pursue other career opportunities but I was not really sure where I wanted to go.

hen decided to move to Texas where western wear was more prominent and more of a demand.
I started in commission sales with Cavenders Boot City in Fort Worth, Tx. 1996. I was promoted to management within 18 months and managed stores in Austin, San Antonio and Fort Worth over a 7 year span. Still looking for more responsibility and growth, I left Cavenders to go work with a National Home Builder KB Home.
It was a chance I took and turned out to be a great decision for me and my family. I worked in the sales department for 4 years and assisted home buyers in making their dreams become reality.
In the summer of 2005 after the class reunion and vacation, I decided to take my knowledge of the home business and start my own custom home building business in D/FW. My company's name is Sierra Fine Custom Homes.
Military
I was stationed in Marquette Mi. at K.I Sawyer AFB in
1985-1987.
1987-1990 in Germany at Hahn Air Base.
1990-1992 in Fort Worth, Tx. at Carswell AFB
1993-1995 in Tucson, Az. at Davis Mothan AFB.
My career field was a Security Specialist for all ten years.
