James's Story

What happened to those 50 years? I joined the air force in Feb. 1967 and attended OTS in San Antonio, Tx. after which I entered undergraduate pilot training program in Big Spring, Tx. Webb AFB. I flew C-130's out of Yokota, Japan for 2 years. I was then assigned to C-5's at Travis AFB in California. My last assignment was with the 3rd ARRG in NKP, Tailand, Jolly Green rescue. Air Force I stayed in the San Francisco area ( Marin & San Mateo counties)and worked as an accountant in San Francisco until I retired for good to Naples, Fl. in 1996. I now spend my days playing golf & tennis, & doing a lot of reading. Just this year I have picked up my clarinet after 50 yrs. and joined the New Horizons International Music Assoc. It is a lot of fun getting back into music after all these years. Sort of like riding a bike (almost). Wish I could remember what I had for breakfast! HA. Hope to see everyone at the reunion. jim
