Linda Zimmer Machado Paterson:  

I am married and have a daughter, Ashley Machado. I attended Lincolnshire Elementary School, South Potomac Junior High and South Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown and attended Cumberland Valley High School my junior and senior years after my family moved to Camp Hill from Hagerstown. I graduated from Elizabethtown College and later graduated from Chaminade University of Hawaii with an MBA degree. I worked in the insurance claims industry for several years before going to graduate school and changing careers to become an accountant. I now work as a CPA for the Pennsylvania Departm qqent of Revenue. In 1979 the insurance company I worked for transferred me to beautiful Honolulu (real tough duty!) where I met my first husband, Howard Machado, who was an airline pilot.
