Workplace
I have worked at a variety of jobs since I joined the workforce. My first job was as a carhop at Kels Drive Inn I loved that job got to see all my friends and meet new people. Then I did a very short stint at The Walls Factory on Fourth Street, I am not a seamstress from there my next major job was rasing kids which left me little time to work outside the home, Between rasing my children I worked as a waitress and cook at Snappys Drive Inn in Dallas, Tx. From there I moved back to Sweetwater and worked for my aunt in her Income Tax Office and In 1988 I decided I needed to go back to school and went on to get an associates degree in August of 1991 so I was ready to go out and put my learning to use when I was given the choice...Expand for more
of rasing a newborn grandaughter and put my full time job search on hold but while I was going to School I got talked into being a DJ for our local radio station KXOX doing the evening partime spanish programming for which I am still hosting. In January of 1997 I was offered a position with Texas Finance to do Income Tax Preparation on a seasonal basis for them and I took it and I was introduced to the finance world and worked for them until September 2005 for 9 years. Then I went on to do Office work for Sweetwater Body Shop until it closed its doors in 2006 and I started doing seasonal Income Tax Preparation for World Finance and also worked at Rosa Johnson Insurance. Now I Have been with Jim Henderson Insurance for Almost 2 Years
