Karen's Story
Life
After State High, I graduated from PSU with a BA in Social Work in 1991, and headed two weeks later for Syracuse University to begin graduate school. I graduated in 1992 with my Masters of Social Work. Then, spent 3 years working as a clinical social worker at Geisinger Medical Center's Children's Hospital. ber 13, 2001. Our daughter Anna was born September 21, 2003. Now, I am a stay at home mom, but still work at the hospital one day a week, to give myself a little break from "baby talk" and diapers...We live in Alexandria, PA, about 45 mins. from State College, in a home built in 1851, which we are slowly remodeling.
