Katherine's Story

I stayed in Kodiak 43 years... moved to Anchorage December of 2008 with my disabled brother Ray. I have 2 wonderful sons, Caleb Ryan Sargent was born August 16, 1978 and Isaac Rae Sargent was born August 16, 1983....5 years apart! Caleb works for the Kodiak School District in the Maintenance Dept, for the last 5 years he is my jack of all trades....Isaac is the boat guy, was a fisherman then on a NOAA ship and now has been on Crowley tugs.... I worked in a bank 12 years and...Expand for more
off and on worked in the medical field as a certified nurse's aid, as a respite coordinator, working with elderly and disabled...my goal now is to go back to school to learn medical coding and billing...family obligations kept me in Kodiak...i always wanted to leave..just did not work out that way. I would change so many things but i would never change having my sons..they are the light and love of my life...someday i hope to follow my original dreams of going to Africa...
