Frankie's Story
Good God, we people are getting old i am now 53.I plan to start next year going backwards instead of getting older i will start getting younger.lol
I have been married for 31 great years to Joe Daugette, a wonderful man,who has always stood beside me, no matter, what the problem.We meet in church 32 years ago, and it must of been love at first sight, for we are still together.Joe pastors our church which is Whispering Hope Church located near Mountainboro, its off hwy 79 going towards Boaz,al.on shady grove road, If you ever have a free Sunday night, come by and see us, we would love to see you.Never in all my years growing up would I have guess that i would end up being a Pastors wife.Yall pray for him, he has me to put up with.lol!
We have 3 great children,Joseph is the oldest, right now he is seperated from his better half.He has no children and if there are any single gals out there HE IS LOOKING.I really learned what courage was from him, you see he had his first stroke at the age of 25, and he also has ms.He lost alot of his eyesight from this,but god has a purpose for him,He should have died twice already, but prayer works wonders, keep praying for him.Next in line, is LaWana,who we call sissy.She is married to a Jeanty Saint-Jean,who is from Hatti.They have two beautiful girls,Zarah who is fixing to be 4,and Nadeige who just turned 1.They live all the way in mass.A town called Haverhill.It is close to Boston.We try to go up there at least 2 times a year and they get to come home at xmas.So far this year we have not been well enough to travel.Our third and last child, the baby of the family is Becky,she is married to Adil Hasan, and yes he is middle eastern, hailing from Pakistan.They have two beautiful children,Abeer,(we call her Abbie) who just turned 6 and goes to john jones school, and our only grandson,Ibrehem(who we call Buddy)is fixing to be 4. They live in rainbow City.
Now, Let me catch you up on what i have been doing in the last 35 years.Lord we have been out of school for ever!!!!

got paid $1.00 to $1.25 hr.. What I remember most about it is it was a fun place to work,; life was so simple then..Then my brother, Harvey bought the Dairy Queen,renamed it the Boodle Burger, and offered me $2.00 if i would stay and work for him,It was hard for i was expecting a baby and fast food makes you very sick just smelling it.I also went to Springville to work with my cuz,at a Barbque place. I always enjoyed working in the fast food placaes. Belive me $2.00 an hour was ALOT of money back then, after a few more jobs here and there I finally ended up in the job God wanted me at, for you see I have already been there for 17 years,I now work for Altoona Health and Rehab.I love this job for i have stayed since '92.Made some great friends there.Also learned to really love the elderly.
If i could do over one thing in my life i would go back to the year 1977, and change who i was with and erase alot of hurt i caused that person,but i would keep the blessing he gave me, never would i give that up. I thought i knew what love was, but i realized i did not, the love i have now for my husband is the true love i thought i had back then. I wish i could personally say to that person in 1977 I AM SORRY!!!Maybe one day he will forgive me,the important thing is God has.
Now my favorite way to relax, is to get a good book and away i go into another world, that is my favorite thing to do in the whole world is READING.
The one thing that has stayed the same since high school, is my hair, it still is red (but gettin some gray in it) and long.I had to cut 9 inches off of it this year due to i have rods in my neck and the weight of my hair was pulling my neck back, causing horrible headaches. The doctor wants another 4 to 5 inches off but i told her it took me over 20 years to get up the nerve to get 9 inches off.I let Joe cut it, for I knew he would not cut ALL of it off.It still hangs halfway down my back.Everyone says I still look the same, but i don't believe that for i weighed around 130 back then, i will not say what i weigh now, but i have gotten bigger.alot bigger.lol
