After graduation I worked in Houston and went to the UH at night. I finally left there when I went into the Army in '68 ( 2 years in Eurpoe and 1 in Vietnam) Upon returning I went to work for the Harris County Sheriff's Department and finally retired in '96, but went back on a contract in '97 and stayed until '01. I then returned to the UH and worked until my ultimate retirement in 2006. Since then I have been travelling with my wife, Candy, and playing golf. Our travels have taken us to Alaska, Hawaii, around the Caribbean and also back to Germany. We have made stops in London, and most of northern Europe. I think that age is finally catching up to us and we are probably stay closer to home. Update 5/10/10: We did not stay closer to home!
