Claudia's Story
Life
I am Married to James M Cazanas, he is half Greek and Half Irish. A good Chrisitian Man. I have 3 children from previous marriages. Tony Dewayne(36) and Jason (32)Hawk, Tressa Marie Gilmer(22).
3 grandchildren all by Tony Dewayne my oldest. Shane Allan (16) Ryan Taylor (15) my angel Ella Marie (2 and half years old going on 15!) The joy of our lifes, we live in a rural area outside of Houston and commute to work. We have almost 4 acres and a catfish pond. Helps me remember home and Arkansas
School
My favorite teacher was Mrs. Parker. She made me believe in myself and my abilities.
My crush was on Rass .
I loved our small class and how we grew up together. 18 years of 160 days a year together can make you family for life. I can picture everyone from when we were in grade school together till Graduation.
College
Arkansas State was a great school and Jonesboro is a quaint little town-...Expand for more
I loved it and my first 2 year of teaching at Westside school district.
University of Houston is where I got my Master in Math and I have taught at Deer Park Isd for 28 years(also coached 8 of those years)
University of Houston at Clear Lake is where I got my Principals Certification- I am am Assistant Principal at Fairmont Jr High now and hope to be Principal next year. Love my work, education is a rewarding job!
I retired in June of 2010. My husband and I do a lot of RV traveling now around the country. I love being retired. Lost my oldest grandson(Shane Allen Hawk-May 2010)he would have been 19 in Sept. My family is changed forever by the loss. I miss him every day. I still have Ryan Taylor he is 18 and in Boston Art Academy , very talented and we are all so proud. I also still have Ella Marie, she is almost 6 now. I don't see her as much but she is a beautiful and loving little lady.
