Life After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Cincinati, majoring in political science and minoring in marketing, However, the lure of creative writing overtook the practical vocational possibilities of practicing law or becoming a corporate executive. I winged my way to Los Angeles and begun a writing career. Boy was that scary! Perseverance and unadultrated hustle paid off. For the past 17 years I have been a freelance animation writer. Currently, my writing partner and I have sold screenplays, teleplays and wrote and produced corporate roadshows. But before my foray into the entertainment industry blossomed, I got married, raised a stepson. (I can hardly believe he's is a teacher with a post graduate degree) and founded and ran a successful entertainment licensing and promotional marketing firm for five years. But my biggest accomplishment for me is being a cancer survivor. A tumor was discovered in June of 99 and God definitely had my back. Another devistating blow was that our matrimonial bliss ended after 15 years of trying to make it work. Not a happy time for either of us, but we both have moved on with our respective lives. God, the aroma of White Castles and climbing those seemingly endless stairs that snaked from Central Parkway seems like yesterday. Has my life been perfect? No, but I have attempted to enjoy life to the fullest. I must say that my high school experience was the greatest. I still miss my friends, the teachers, the administrators and the best macaroni and cheese making lunchroom staff in the world. MSB I always wanted to be a write when I grew up.
