Linda's Story
Hi and thanks for stopping by.
High school is a distant memory, but, a good one.
I wasn't part of the "popular" group, but, I had my own group of friends and we were close and had fun. That is what counts, right?
I met Rick Hannah in high school. We went on to live together and marry, then divorce. We are friends now and like it that way.
After High School Grad I worked a few jobs, but, mostly was a housewife, following Rick to Vancouver for his training and then to Prince George, for work.
After my divorce I lived on my own for the first time and loved it! I didn't have much money as I was doing daycare for...Expand for more
a couple of dentists, at the time, but, the freedom was great.
Then I started dating Mike Harkins (My current husband-and hopefully last, lol). We moved in together in PG. In 1990 we moved to the Queen Charlotte Islands for 6 years where we married, had our first child, lost a 2nd (late miscarriage) and enjoyed the ocean life. In 1997, after the birth of our twins, we moved to Vanderhoof and we are still here.
Our twins just turned 11 and our oldest girl is 16.
We go back to Quesnel 3-4 times a year to visit family.
Sometimes I think I might like to move back there, and then I think again. You can't go back...
