Maxine's Story
Hi Folks!
I've enjoyed my life. As many may not know after graduating I attended Millard Military Prep-school for the Air Force Academy but then received a scholarship to attend Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX where I met my husband. I've been happily married to Michael Maloney since 1981. We were both AFROTC cadets but the Air Force wouldn't station us together so he opted for the USMC and I gave up my commission in the Air Force. Michael was in the Marine Corps for 5 years, taught high school for 2 years and then became a special agent in NCIS. ngineer for the World Bank in Washington DC. while Michael got his masters in forensics from George Washington University. We've lived in many states and overseas. After 17 years of working in a "bleeding edge" career, I had 3 beautiful children and started a new career of being a stay-home mom. Being a mother has been by far the hardest work I've ever done and the most rewarding. Every place we've lived has been a grand adventure. Our most exciting has been in the Middle East though we have enjoyed touring South Africa and living in Okinawa. Hopefully, one day, I'll make it to the Holy Land and China.
