Life
So far so good!
I have a great husband, a gorgeous fun- loving daughter, a sweet - baby boy and a nice home. My parents live nearby and love spending time with their grandchildren.
I had a career that I enjoyed, until I decided to stay home with my daughter.
Now, I am back in school for my masters in education. Big switch from wall street to the class room - but I don't think I'll regret it. Rather be close to home and the family.
I still have the same two best friends, I've had since highschool. And, I've accumulated many other wonderful friendships through work, school, and the neighborhood. ...Expand for more
Sounds to good to be true - right?
Well, I've had my share of setbacks too. Dad got ill in 2001, doctors said he wouldn't make it but somehow he did. Lost a loved one in the trade center. I also worked at the trade center but I wasn't there that dreadful day. Thank god because I found out I was pregnant the week after. My husband was laid off right after we had the baby. I was laid off 4 months later.
But I guess all these setbacks make you appreciate things more.
My husband is working again and I'm amost finished with school. I'm already working as an assistant teacher and subbing at PS 58.
