Scott's Story
Life
My Spouse - Rena
We met in Toronto (married 34 years).
Sealed for eternity in Cardston, Alberta Temple in 2001.
Rena passed away December 18, 2022.
My Pets
A 4-year old Siberian Husky Baxter (movie star, appeared in the Disney movie "Togo").
My Kids
A girl, Kelly (34).
An adopted boy, Bobby (26).
My Job
I usually do contract work with major corporations, spending 6-months+ designing, coding, testing and documenting major computer systems and programs. I have worked in North Carolina twice, England, New Brunswick and Texas as well as Ontario and Alberta.
Retired May 28, 2023.
School
Most memorable moments at KG:
1) The Bomb Scare at KG in 1974. I answered the phone in the lobby at 3:15 and was told that a bomb would go off at the school at 4 PM. The naïve person that I was (there were 3 of us), we did not inform anyone! Ran across the str...Expand for more

2) Playing right field on the softball diamond and watching my older brother Steve hit a ball into Mr. Buum's class window (3rd floor). A couple of years later, I saw Robert Aason put a ball on the roof.
3) The Teacher strike in 1969 and most of the students walked to the School Board building and planted a sign on the front lawn. The picture made the front page of the Vancouver Sun and back page of the Vancouver Province. (P.S. My daughter's class did the same thing when she was in Grade 11 and the teachers wanted us to punish her and we told her that we could not because I had done it when I was in high school.)
College
Attended St. Petersburg Junior College in Florida earning a Associate of Arts degree in Business Admin.
Workplace
Retired May 28, 2023
I volunteer at the Calgary Temple 2 mornings a week.
