Bianca's Story
Life
I am a 7th grade teacher in Myrtle Beach, SC. It is difficult but rewarding. I couldn't imagine not teaching. I am married!!! The date was November 18, 2006. SC is beautiful. You all should visit the mountains or beach sometime. They really are calming. I have since went from strong democratic to more conservative in my views. Not totally though. I eat healthy and am in the process of studying nutrition and organic foods.
School
I wish I had been more involved, cheerleading, clubs, something. Senior year was a blast and I made some great friends then, Carrie Morrison, Jon Stone, Evan Cohen and Andy Mackler. Does anyone remember Mrs. Dunoy? I loved her and Mrs. Schmall. She was the best. Mr. Townsend, god I was in love with him my sophmore year. College
Man, college was great! I loved being a sister in Phi Sigma Sigma. The fun parties, purple haze from Sammies and Beta roses. The 'greek section' in the cafeteria was awesome and skipping class for Denny's. The different 'crews' and horrible life science. The professor only offered the class at 8am every day. He is like a 100 years old! I loved the Davie campus. More laid back atmosphere compared to Boca. The best times I had were in college.
Workplace
I am still a certified pharmacy technician (fall back career). I have taught 4th grade, Montessori preschool, 7th grade English and Math and 6th grade science and social studies. It is sometimes really hard and frustrating and I do work like 60 hour weeks, teachers do not leave at 3pm, we stay and then take home work. But I enjoy the days that I get to really connect with some kids. Those make the days fly by.
