When I graduated HS, 1981, I went to a year of College at Central Missouri State. After a year, and very short of money, it seemed the logical thing to do was join the Army, and let them pay for my future to a college eduction. Well that didn't exactly work the way I had anticipated and planned. I continued some of my college education during the 5 years I was in the Army as a Military Policeman. When I left the Military Service, I was married with a kiddo, and had to work. So I was quickly hired as a Police Officer just north of Chicago, IL, and got my law enforcement officer certification at the Chicago Police Academy. as a Police Officer I finally was hired by the United States Marshal Service in Feb 1990. I spent 15 beautiful weeks at the Federal Law Enforcement Center in Brunswick, GA, and started my career with the feds in Chicago, IL. after 3 years there, I transferred to Dallas, TX, with a short 6 month stay in Tulsa, OK., just prior to moving to the Dallas Ft. Worth area. I was in the Dallas Office for 6 years before I moved to the Ft. Worth Office (much closer to my home). Now after almost 15 years with the Marshals Service I have been involved in many large scale fugitive cases, and currently assigned to a violent crime fugitive task force. Best part about this job is "The customer is absolutley never right".
