Robert's Story
Life
Hey! I've lived a fairly interesting life. Moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1972. Have worked in high-tech for 20 years, been married 16 years. I do a lot of international travel for business. I'm still like a wide-eyed kid wherever I go.
I've described my living environment as "somewhat paradisiacal." I live on a ridge-top overlooking the San Francisco bay. I can see across the bay to San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley, all about 40 miles away.
California is a great place to play out your fantasies. A favorite of mine is driving down a two-lane blacktop...Expand for more
(like the Pacific Coast Highway), moon-roof wide open, the volume pumped on some excellent sounds, my honey laughing by my side. I know I'm biased, but California has an aesthetic edge that's hard to beat. Henry Miller's first glimpse of the Santa Lucia Mountains rising straight up out of the Big Sur coast was enough to beat the New York out of him for good.
I feel very fortunate to live here and have loving, caring relationships with my wife, kid, and grandkids. The grandkids bring a smile to my mind every time I think of them.
