Lisa's Story

My Life? Pretty typical I think. I still live in the area and work for my families business, would like to do something different but I am too good at what I do to just up and leave. I am on my second and final marriage. My husband, Joe, is absolutely perfect for me. Last year we celebrated our 5th anniversary in Las Vegas renewing our vows with Elvis - what a blast! We travel quite a bit, not something I ever thought I would be into but I actually really enjoy it. We have 13 nieces and nephews so no need to have our own kids we just borrow some when we are in the mood, then send them back home to...Expand for more
their parents. It works great! We have 2 miniature pinschers (our babies) Fancy and Spider. Spider is great with people so we do nursing home visits about 6 times a year right now but we hope to be able to go more often in the near future. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1996. I have been on medicine for that ever since and my MRI has been unchanged for 6 years, which is good news. So far I live as normal a life as anyone. I am writing a book on the subject, I hope to have it finished within a couple of years. I am looking forward to the reunion this year can't wait to see everyone.
