David's Story
Life
After graduating from Morse in 1976, I enlisted in the Navy and served on submarines in Hawaii for six years. I got out in 1982, the same year I met my wife, Kyna. We were happily married in 1985. tate offered us much more in terms of opportunities in raising our son. But still, I do miss Hawaii and my friends there. I miss the long epic mountain bike rides through the valleys and mountains. The rides were only long and epice because I usually got lost and it would take several hours to find my way back. I also miss bodysurfing with the ocean water splashing in my face and drying my body off in the warm golden sun. Don't worry though, I make do with the warmth of my family's love...Aloha!!!---Dave Easterly (Morse High School, Class of 1976, and former Sonar Technician aboard the Theodore Roosevelt, Sam Houston, and Robert E. Lee)
