Betty's Story

Hello everyone! How fast life passes by. where did all the years go?. I have had many occupations through the years, Hair stylist for many years and a Nurses aid for 20 years. Owned and operated a green house/ nursery and a gift shop, if that was not enough, I opened a Bed and Breakfast. My love for animals soon grew into a mini farm with chickens, ducks, geese, two goats, two cats and ...Expand for more
a dog. They were a big attraction with my guest. Unfortunately, my Husband Jack, passed away in 2015. I sold my home and moved to Florida in 2017. It's where my daughter lives. I now spend my time walking on the beach watching beautiful sunsets, gardening and birdwatching. I took up a new hobby , writing stories. Mostly about my life in the Catskills . They will forever be in my heart!
