So, Frank Renaud inspired me to write an update on this forum. I don't think I was nearly as invested in or as fond of high school as was Frank, but I really enjoyed reading his words, hearing his memories and getting a glimpse of his life since Troy High. Looking back, I was a fairly odd duck in high school but, especially of late, I think more often of the great friends and acquaintances from back then and the influence they had on me. I love reading about the paths they've chosen and about their families. I stayed in Michigan, for the past 21 years living in Birmingham. After college and a master's in finance I worked for a bankruptcy firm in Detroit. After having my first child I decided to stay home, and did so for 16 years and three more children. During my time away from the paying work world, I got very involved in local politics, particularly public education.
