Jodi's Story
Life
Married since 7/14/1990.
The family and I are currently living in Maryland.
My husband, Bob, and I lived in Studio City, CA for approx one year then moved to San Diego for 2 years. We lived in Landover, MD for 9 years, moved to Groton, CT for 18 months and then moved back to Maryland. That's the military for you!!
My husband retired from the Navy in October of 2006, became a contractor with the Military, and is now a Government worker but still continues to do his previous job.
We waited quite a while to have children. Our son, Evan, is 12 and daughter Samantha is 9.
We now have three rescued dogs: Pepper, Lucy, and Takeki.
and two rescued cats: Spooky and Toby
Bob and I have done a lot of traveling throughout the years. Some of my most memorable have been England, Scotland, Germany, Finland, and most recently Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney, Australia. Lots of time in the air but was worth every minute!! ...Expand for more
In Sept 2008 Bob and I went to Oahu. It was beautiful to say the least.
12-12-12: Samantha's 9th birthday.
Wow!! has time flown. We have not traveled a lot recently due to school and many sports practices and games. Evan is in soccer and baseball. Bob became a certified soccer coach and has been the head coach for the boys JV team for the past two years. Samantha is in soccer, softball, lacrosse, and swimming so far. I was on the coaching staff for the rookie girls this past year and their record ended up 5-1-2. Not bad for a group of girls that all but two had never played before and most wanted to make it into social hour at the start. I have also been asked it I want to be the head coach for the rookie girls softball team this spring. That one I will have to think about!!
I am currently trying to get our house ready to be put on the market. If it sells then we are looking at moving to PA. We will see!?!?!?
