Kay's Story

Hi Everybody Here goes. For the ones that didn't know me in high school. And for the ones that did I lived and breathed music in school. Whatever music program that was available I signed up. Basically that hasn't changed. Still playing my clarinet. Each Monday evening at Jordan I practice with the Bob Barr Band for our next performance. While I was attending Jordan High I was asked to sign up in several clubs. No hard feeling folks, I just wasn't interested. Again I was so caught up in my music. Not much else mattered. After I graduated from Jordan I realized I wanted more education, soon after marrying. My daddy asked me what I wanted to study. I said computers because I think they may be big some day. Still hear that conversation ringing in my ears. I studied programming/data processing at ...Expand for more
Columbus Tech. Then medical secretary science at Phillips Jr College. This opened doors for me at several hospitals, doctors offices and other jobs. I enjoyed working in a medical atmosphere. Though I have to admit I'm not quite ready for retirement or a rocky chair. But if anybody has some ideas throw them my way. Since I like to fish. I'm up for that to. I married Stan after being divorced 10yrs. Gain a daughter that is living in Hawaii that is in school/working. And yes we went for a visit over there last year. A trip to remember. My first time to snorkel. Felt like I was a kid again. Toured Pearl Harbor and was humbled from the experience. I'd love to hear from other Jordan folks. Doesn't matter year ya graduated. We can all relate back to Jordan. That counts a whole lot. God's speed to all!
