Tim's Story
For those going to the 20 year reunion, I am sorry to say, but I will be on a plane that day. So here is an update on my life.
After High School, I went to college at Oregon State for 2 years, Western Oregon for 2 1/2 years, and the University of Tuebingen in Germany for 1 1/2 years. I graduated in 1994 with majors in Health Education, Sports medicine and a minor in German. While in Germany I also worked on short term mission trips in Belgium and in Romania.
I married my lovely wife 9 months after graduating from college and we moved to Florida to work at an eductional research farm to help feed the hungry by suporting missionaries with seeds and information. The Farm is called ECHO (Educational Concerns for Hunger Organisation) and is a worthy organisation if you are interested. ued our eductions in Linguistics at SIL (Summer Institue of Linguistics) in Eugene, Oregon to become Literacy Specialists, and I taught at Tillamook High school as a Special Ed. teacher during the school year. We also spent a year in Texas at the Wycliffe Institue of Linguistics to finish our training there. Since then we have had 4 more wonderful children for a total of 5 now. We continue to depend on God for His leading in our lives, and attend a Reformed Baptist Church with a supportive church family. Now days I work doing computer design for a truss company (couldn't stand the politics in the school systems these days), go kayaking, biking, play sports with my kids, and try to obey what God teaches us in His Word, the Bible, though I still often fail. We are all sinners, and the longer I live, the more I realise the truth of the fact that I am a sinner, but God is Holy, and His Son died for me, and you too. If you want to know more, contact me.
