Sandra's Story
Life
I never thought I would be where I am today. I have an Associate Degree in Arts and my LPN certificate. I enjoy life for what it is worth and no longer take things for granted. I got divorced in 2000 and moved to Oklahoma. While here, I met a wonderful and supportive man that has given me the honor of being his wife. We married in June 2005. We have a daughter and son from my previous marriage and a son together.
School
I think the only true regret I have is dropping out in Dec 1991 when I had such a good grade point average. With an...Expand for more
infant daughter though, it was tough. I would not change it though. I took my GED in 1992 and continued raising my child I had in July 1991. I later married her dad and had a son with him-we divorced in 2000.
College
I recieved my two degrees from Northark College in Arkansas and have taken a few classes in Warner, OK.
Workplace
I work for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Muskogee, OK full-time processing claims. I work part-time as an LPN with a local home health agency. I also serve as an MDA Advocate (my husband and son have MMD).
