Stephanie's Story
After graduating from Hinsdale Central High School, I continued my education at Long Island University (LIU) in New York. I attended LIU's Southampton College for two years before the campus closed in Fall 2005, where I chose to move further west on the Island to conclude my studies at LIU's C.W. Post Campus. To receive my diploma I picked up and moved to sunny Orlando, Florida where I interned at Walt Disney World to earn my final six credits. I graduated in January 2007 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, a concentration in Graphic Design,...Expand for more
and a minor in photography.
After graduating college, I ended up staying in Orlando to continue working for the Walt Disney World Resort. In May 2007, however I decided it was time to head home to Hinsdale to be closer to family.
Over the last couple years I've worked as a Graphic Designer at the Hinsdalean Newspaper in Downtown Hinsdale, Toomey Associates, LTD., and now I currently work at the Chicago Zoological Society (Brookfield Zoo). I am, also, a Seasonal Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort, and travel often back to Florida.
