Patricia's Story

Life I got married in 1998 before my senior year of college, and just worked part-time until I graduated in May of '99. I'm in my second house, and I have worked for BankPlus since before I graduated from Belhaven. My husband is from Hickory, MS and graduated from MS College in 1997. He's the head baseball coach and slow-pitch softball coach at St. Andrew's Episcopal School. He played baseball at Newton Co. HS, East Central CC, MC, and a few years of semi-pro. He's been a head coach for 10 years. We had a little boy in October of 2005. Why did it take so long? We love to travel, so we got most of that out of our way. We frequently go to St. Louis to see the St. Louis Cardinals play. That is our favorite baseball team. We even named our son after one of the players! Hopefully, we'll move there some day. , but I usually hung out with Richie Richardson and that group, and with Rebecca Kitchens, Tonya Sykes and the rest of our gang. Oh yeah, and remember Mr. Barnett, the young chemistry teacher? We went out a few times my freshman year of college. We haven't talked in years, though. I'm sure he's finally finished with school and is a doctor somewhere. I would have to say my favorite teachers were Viola Crisler and Elizabeth Henderson. Ms. Crisler still keeps up with me through my mom. She and Ms. H were always keeping me in line and making sure I made it far! Would I do High School over again? Probably not. I'm loving life now. College After Co-Lin, I went to USM in Hattiesburg. After attending there my junior year, I transferred to Belhaven College in Jackson to finish up - I graduated in May, 1999. Workplace I am currently Assistant Vice President and Investment Sales Coordinator/Personal Trust Administrator for BankPlus Wealth Management.
