Robert's Story

.....Still crazy as ever...... After High School spent (5) years in the Marine Corp, USMC, S/Sgt E-6, lots of medals (10) also got some metal shrapnel right arm shot left leg........ Did some contract, missile security work, Captain, Micronesia Kwaj...... Placer gold mining Alaska, Forty mile....Sun Bum Hawaii... First Commander VFW Post 560 Kutztown ... VFW National Aid De Camp .. Textiles, Head Mechanic, Supervisor,Pennsylvania,Georgia.......NOW:... Retired Florida, live at a Resort (The Bungalow, top of the lake)...... Have a restored 74 classic GMCMH motor coach... that can go anywhere anytime in the lap of luxury.....also a S 430 Mercedes for grins an giggles...... Party a lot....... Live my life as a hobby..... What was a childhood memory you'll never forget ? .. In grade school some one lost 50 cents and the teacher was trying to find out what happened ...thinking some...Expand for more
one took it she said the person who has the money can put it on my desk while the class puts their head down .... so we were all snickering and peeking to see who the thief was... having not worked she said we will check everybody's pockets and desk watching everybody's face.. there was no reaction ... next she said we will check all coats and lunch buckets in the cloak room ... at this my face must have turned red as a ripe tomato.... having pooped my underwear at lunch recess and putting them in my lunch pale to take them home ...well at the time it seemed logical ..... having looked in my coat she asked for my lunch bucket ...pleading for her not to open it ...she placed it center of her desk and opened it unwrapping the white cloth she thought the 50 cent piece was wrapped in..... she closed the lunch bucket slowly and said well at least we know that Bobby is not the thief...
