Marina's Story
I'm still in Tulsa, OK.
I'm still a professor at Tulsa Community College.
I just got back from Enid ,OK. Did my" Rosie the Riveter "talk at the museum.
Going back next Tuesday to do" Rosie" at Vance Air Force Base.
I go all over OK and other states to talk folklore (history about variious subjects.)
I'm the college historian and also director of our Heritage Center.
Member of Oklahokma Museum Assoc. and Oklahoma Historical Society.

I do the Tulsa Tunnel Tours and give my "Rosie the Riveeter" talks all over at
military bases and other educational groups. I'm recorded in 2 Presidential Libraries and
Museums. Have articles in magazines, radio, and internet, take part in WWII symposiums at
other colleges and universities.Now I also, get to fly in all the vintage planes that fly into
Tulsa for air shows. I have the Mayor's Proclamation of my years in education and am now
considered a WWII veteran. I miss Wichita.
