Life Being asked to share my story for the past 26 years of my life is going to be somewhat interesting. After graduation I decided to work towards a life away from Anniston. Five years past quickly when I enrolled into Alabama State University in Montgomery, Al. there I was accompanied by Mark Dukes, Valerie Jones, Valerie Kendricks, Gregory McCoulough, Gerald Carmicheal and Eulette Pogue who got me there a month in advance to crab the marching band as part of the color guard. I got sick after three days and the director sent me home. No I did not get enough I went back I was determined to get out of Anniston again. I survied 4 year on campus but need to feel more independent attended summer session for two years and completed my degree the Spring of 1983 to recieve a Bachalor of Art degree in Journalism minoring in Speech communication. My mother was ill and needed me home. I was hire as a receptionist at Red Lobster but didn't make the first day of work due to illness in my family.
