Bethany's Story
Life
Life has changed drastically for me since the good old years at Princeton High School. I have since met Michael, my freshman year at Miami, and we've been inseparable ever since. We were married February 5, 2005. We recently celebrated our 1-year anniversary, still loving every minute of it. We live in Mason with the infamous Emma, our unruly Bichon Frise. No kids yet, Emma is all the responsibility we can handle right now!
School
The high school years are such a blur to me. I look through old pictures and yearbooks and can't believe everything that happened during those years. I have lost touch with many people from those years, but the friendships I still have from that time are the ones that are most important to me. We constantly remind each other of the stupid things we did, the trouble we got into to and the hilarious times we've spent together.
College
I started the college years at Miami University, majoring in Architecture/Interior Design. Halfway through freshman year, I changed my major to Earl...Expand for more
y Childhood Education. After I realized that I would graduate from Miami 10 years later, I transferred to Xavier University. I absolutely loved Xavier, it was the right fit for me. It's definitely not the best party school, but that's where my Spring House crew comes into play!
Workplace
I think everyone knows that I worked at the Silver Spring House all through high school and college, it was my second home. Since graduating from Xavier in 2004, I decided that teaching wasn't really for me. So I then began the crazy process of trying to find the best fit for me in a career. I found a great company, Trustaff, which is a medical staffing firm. We staff traveling nurses, doctors, pharmacists, techs, etc. I work in their HR/QA department and love every minute of it. Trustaff is a smaller company with great people to work with/for, and has become one of the most well-respected firms in the ever-growing industry. Of course, I'm still doing the schedule at the Spring House, I don't think I'll ever completely leave there!
