Robert Eugene's Story
Life
During the years at Norview, I went by my middle name, Eugene Brown, this was due to so many Robert Brown's at the time I started school. I graduated in June 1963 and entered the United States Army in September 1963. I served tours of duty in Hanau Germany, San Antonio, Texas and Vietnam, I was discharged in 1969. ned the United States Navy and got married in 1974. In the Navy, I served onboard the USS MULLINNIX (DD-944) homeported in Norfolk, VA, VA-45 in Jacksonville, Florida and Key West, Florida, USS CONCORD (AFS-5), homeported in Norfolk Naval Station, Norfolk, VA and Commander, Fighter Wing ONE at NAS Oceana, Virginia. I retired in 1987 and moved to Arlington, Texas, where I presently reside. I have four chidren and four beautiful grandchildren, all are girls and I am so proud of them.
