Carol Grant:  

Life After high school, I became an executive secretary for RCA, in Cherry Hill. After dating John Vernon for four years, we were married in 1962 and I transfered to Washington, D.C. and worked for RCA Service Co., while John completed his doctorate in chemistry at the University of Maryland. In 1965 we returned to Haddonfield and we had our three sons. After twelve years in Haddonfield, we moved to Westmont. To be home with our sons, I started child care in our home. It was a pleasure to share in young lives, and I always appreciated their parents sharing with me. I retired in 1996. John, retired in 1998, from Proctor & Gamble. As you may have already read under my children heading, John passed away in 1999. As you also may have read under the same heading, that Bill Grant, class of 56, had come back into my life and that we married in 2000, only for him to have passed away thirteen days later of a heart condition. Within this past year I have traveled to Africa and enjoyed a safari. Last month I went to Rome and in September I plan to go to Napton, England, to travel the Oxford Canal on a narrow boat.
