Jean's Story

I got married in 1960. I was still only 18, but luckily I made a good choice, and we are still happily married. We moved around for a while, but came to the San Francisco Bay area in 1967. We love it here. We live on a small farm (8 acres) and have 4 llamas. I was a Librarian for 28 years and enjoyed it very much, but I'm retired now. We have a son and a daug...Expand for more
hter who both live nearby. Our son has 3 little girls, and our daughter has a little boy. Being a Grandmother is wonderful. We have traveled all over the world. We vacation in Hawaii every winter. My husband hasn't retired yet because he runs his own company, and he likes what he does. Except for my arthritis, I'd say these are the best years of our lives.
