Life
Wow! Life happens so quickly. It seems like just yesterday I was skipping school when the weather was getting warm. Grab some jo-jos and head to Long Lake Park or Capital Peak and hang out for the day! Oh, what I wouldn't give for that kind of leisure in my life now. Since graduating from college (life-long education plan), I have moved to North Carolina to finally plant my roots. My current job is the Marketing Manager of a government contract for the state of North Carolina. For once in my life I can say I absolute LOVE my job. I was fortunate enough to finish my commercial pilot rating before leaving Ohio and then add on a multi-engine rating here in 2006. More flight ratings are on the horizon. organization. It's such an honor to be a part of something so meaningful as Amelia Earhart was our first President. We are a world-wide organization who strives to support women in aviation to achieve their goals through scholarships, networking and support. Then. . . .who knows? But, I must say that no matter where I live, Washington is still my home. I miss it every day, except for maybe today since it's 82 degrees and gorgeous. Honestly, I look forward to my trips back home where I can see the economic progress and real estate development. But, the memories of so many years ago show a very different place. Perhaps I will have the opportunity to meet up with some of you on my next visit to the great Northwest. If you are near the beautiful state of North Carolina, please drop me a line!
