Life
A bio huh? Let's see...
We're living in Colorado and absulutely loving it. There's so much to do down here for all of us that we're very rarely bored!! We go back home to Wyoming and Nebraska to see family as often as we can though.
Well, first and foremost I'm a mom. We have a wonderful daughter who keeps us on the go all the time with activities and sports out the whazoo! We also have a new one on the way, who's set to make their arrival later this year. I love being at home all the time so that I don't have to miss anything of Taryns. It has also allowed us to very slowly get things ready for the new baby instead of having to rush during maternity leave like a lot of moms do.
Not only am I a mom, I'm also a full time Mary Kay consultant. I love the business and everything about the company. I work when I want to, and make as much or as little as I want to every month. But the fact that I'm not cooped up in a hospital or someplace else being stressed out working a 40+ hour a week nursing job is the best part. for one reason or another keep adding "school committee" this or that to my list of things to do. This year I think I might try just being a mom and limiting myself to one committee. Yah right, I try telling myself that every year around this time and my honey just laughs at me like he did when I started up a few days ago.
On top of those things, we also own a race team. My honey is the driver and before long Taryn will be racing too. I get to make sure that everyone's where they're supposed to be come race day, and pretty much everything else other than drive and mechanics. It keeps me pretty busy and makes the summer really fly by, but it's so much fun and so worth it when we see a new trophy added to the collection every few weeks!
We also love to travel, and with racing we do a lot of that. We usually take at least one BIG trip a year but we're taking this summer off because of the baby. Plus we're saving up for our huge 2 week one to the coast next summer.
Well as you can see, we're a super busy family that is on the go a lot. I hope that all of you are doing well, and have had a great last 12 or so years!!
