Life Married to Billy Wade (high school sweetheart ),for 43 years. Mother of two daughters- Tassie Winters, who lives in Texas; and Heather Wade, who lives in Hawaii.. Tassie has made me a Grand-mother of three; step grand-mother of 3; &Great- step-grand-mother of 2... I am a Retired Certified Respiratory Therapist: worked at SFMC,Monroe,LA.; Potomac Medical ,Dale City,VA. Decatur General, Decatur, Texas Trinity,Carrolton,TX.; also I am a Professional Clown , "Patti Kakes & (my shy pup-pet) Baker's Man",) married to a clown- :) .... "Mr. High Pockets"; We attended Clown School and Hold a degree in CLOWNOLOGY ! Poet: Published nationally and internationally, received various awards locally ,nationally and UK. Presently writting a children's book .( slow going too many distractions) but look for me in the news !! :) I have lived in New Orleans, Boutte, & Hahnville ,La.; Ponce, Puerto Rico; Fredericksburg, Va.;Denton & Corinth, Texas; moved back to West Monroe, La., recently moved to Monroe--Yes- in Tiger territory ! Love to see you.. and always remember smiles are freeeeeeeeeeeee:) School First Grade: Crosley School- 1st. boyfriend: Glen Gallaspy,who walked me to my car every day; Second- Sixth Grade: Mitchell School- best friends Rita Gail Browder Woods & Peaches Horn. Most remembered events : Brownies at Glenda McCormicks; tonsillitis every Valentines ; slidding down the big slide with my 100+ yd. petti coat snagged at top and then taking off running- ( picture three girls with arms filled with multi-colored net petticoat) ended up with Peaches and Rita helping me carry home.; Mrs.Tolbird teaching 4th. grade class to dance; Being a majorette with Charlotte Fleming and Eva Boyd instead of being a cheerleader; Rita's mom teaching us classical dance lessons at her home- with boys; a nose bleed injury in sixth grade with Peaches helping me home; living across the street from the school; Coach Brown in 6th.grade-the boys telling me- my Mom was walking around yard in combat boots; also he would have gum chewers hold books or stick gum behind their ears; & most of all- just having fun !! Now onto WMJH- first kiss Mike McGee- at Strand Theatre & the first boy that asked me for a date ;First serious boyfriend & heart break- David Crew; Pep Squad; Girl Scouts with Mrs. McCoy; GS campouts and meeting the BS from Sterlington;first sock hop; Mrs. Russell and choir---singing Let's Get Together with Rita for a grade;Walking to the Strand and Rialto theatre on Saturdays ( with Rita or Ann Works);Stopping off at the Coney Island only to sneak chili burgers into show; Brenda Frost and I getting in trouble for nothing at the show(rolled the Strand- inside) ;Big red suckers, pop corn and pickles at the show; The Twist, Mashed Potatoes--- and Elvis -Blue Hawaii(Kathy McCoy's birthday party)-The Beatles---I Wanna Hold Your Hand Now onto WMHS-Boyfriends: Larry Lindsay( the only boy I ever aske...Expand for more
