April Nowak-Tolen:  

April was born in Kittery, Maine. She grew up in South Carolina, later moving to Chicago and Madison, WI. Then to California, Texas, and Seattle, WA. She now lives in Phoenix, AZ. She is happily divorced. Her schools include Andrews High School, Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC, Illinois School of Computer Studies in Chicago. She later attended UoP and received a BS in Psychology focusing on Women's Studies. She works(ed) at CS Evaluator/Market Research at Business Evaluation Services, United Government Services, State of Illinois. April's interests include the downfall of runaway capitalism, art, music, political activism, decorating, clothing design, and traveling. She believes traveling to other countries and learning about different cultures makes for a better worldview. She's traveled to Italy, Austria, & Mexico; spent three months in Germany and plans to travel to all 50 states as well. Music she likes includes Parliament, Rick James, Prince, MJ, The Doors, Imagine Dragons, Teena Marie, Hozier, Queen, Lenny Kravitz, Bone Thugs, The Time, Pete Rock/CL Smooth, GnR, Billie Holiday, Soundgarden, Nirvana, NIN, India Arie, Carlos Santana, Foo Fighters, The Cure, MUSE.
