Life
Lovin' life outside Longview! After school at the University of Arizona, I moved to San Francisco for work. A new job and several moves later (Sacramento, Albuquerque, and Philadelphia), Boston has become my home and it's awesome! For those of you who haven't been here, it's definitely worth a trip out.
Retail is definitely not a job that I envisioned myself working when I was growing up, but REI a fantastic company that offers a great way to work with people (staff and our customers) that have similar goals and passions in life. b? I am currently managing almost 100 people on a daily basis.
A real passion of mine has been racing bicycles and triathlons over the past few years, and it's been a great outlet for the competitive urges I still have.
Visiting 'home' has become more challenging in recent years-I haven't been there for more than a week since my sophomore year of college...spending most of my free time travelling, racing, backpacking, snowboarding, and generally enjoying life.
