So, you might say that my options are open right now. Retired and all that, but right now having to work on plan B.

Since last year I've done some genealogy research and have discovered that I probably have a number of distant relatives from Thomas Co. t...Expand for more
hrough Grady, Decatur, and Seminole to the Ala. border. Of course, the Brady's being as strange as they were, I met very few while growing up in Thomasville. Go figure.
When Mom, Daren, and I are gone it will be the end of my branch of the Bradys. I guess that was one of the reasons, besides curiosity, that got me interested in family research.
Sometime this year I hope to make a trip to Georgia to do some research in a number of counties.

June 2, 2008:
In March, 2007 my son began dialysis treatments 3 days a week. He had End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) caused by an inherited kidney disease that his biological mother did not know she had. She died in Georgia from long-term complications from the same disease 2 days before my son began his treatments. He currently is on disability and trying to qualify for the transplant waiting list.
My mother made 88 back in March, but last year we were told she had the early stages of some form of dementia.
I have not as yet made that trip back to Georgia to do family research. It would be nice to combine that with attending a reunion.
March 20, 2010: Mom turned 90 this week (16th)
April 8, 2013, Mom passes, age 93.; interred in Brady plot, 7th street. Laurel Hill.
