Mark's Story

Hey everyone! They say when you have your health, you have everything. Well it is great to be over 50 and in reasonably good health. Of course I exercise mostly just so I can eat more. ;) I lived in Vermont my first ten years and have many fond memories of friends, relatives, hiking in the Green Mountains. I like to go back and visit in the summer. Fifth grade was spent in Ann Arbor while my Dad got his Masters degree at U of M. The next year we moved to little bitty St. Clairsville OH, now home to a huge Mall. . After graduating from Univ of Cincinnati (where I was involved in Campus Crusade for Christ. I have worked for Dow Chemical in Midland, MI since graduating college. Even live in the same house since '86. college and one still in High School. Over the years I have been very involved in church activities, including Stephen Ministry, and Younglife. Yes, even now I am playing guitar for weekly Club meetings just like I did waaaaayy back in High School. I play guitar mostly, but have dabbled with banjo, mandolin and bass. I have even written a few songs, but nothing published yet. Haven't done a lot of traveling, but warm beaches are always a welcome change for us Michigan people in Spring time. One favorite trip was a mission trip to Mexicali, MX. It was over 110 every day. We worked hard on construction projects, but I loved it because I got to go with my whole family. The girls were great as we spent evenings with local children. Warm greetings to anyone who remembers me and comes by to visit.
