ineering co, teaching electronic theory and repair for operating room equipment systems and sterilizers in Atlanta. After several years, I got the "itch" to change careers and began to work on becoming a firefighter and EMT. I worked for the City of Toccoa FD and a county FD. I took a position teaching in the Fire Marshal's office for Dekalb Co FD. I made the decision to complete my college education and renewed a part-time effort to teach elementary education. Years later, I am now working in my county as a 911 dispatcher and I am almost finished with a degree. I plan to work with the increasing Hispanic population in our area, as my Spanish skills have kept honed through the years working in Public Safety. Well, there I am in 2000 words or less.
