Dianne's Story
My story......
Well I graduated in 1980, joined the Army, spent 15 1/2 years active duty getting stationed for various amounts of time in NJ, VA, AL, Germany, MO, Panama and SC.
Yes, I saw bit of Europe. Climbed the Eiffel Tower, saw the "REAL" Disney castle (called Neuschwastein) hiked in Austria, skied the Bavarian Alps, and had the greatest time that I don't remember at Oktoberfest in Munich.
Yes, I saw a bit of Central and South America too. Partied with the American Ambassador to Guatemala at his residence, swam on Thanksgiving Day in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and learned to skydive at Calzada Larga. I landed in a tree on my first jump. On my third jump my main canopy failed, and I broke my ankle during a very hard landing on jump number nine. End of skydiving. I think I'll learn to SCUBA next.

active army and joined the reserves in 1995. My unit is in Charlotte, NC and I live in the upstate of SC currently.
I have a great son who will be starting college in the fall of 2008.
I'm a musician in the Army, a factory rat in the civilian world and I like both jobs most of the time.
It took too many tries to finally realize that marriage is NOT my cup of tea, so in another eight months or so, I will be divorced, NEVER to repeat the mistake again. I love being single, I love living my life my way and answering to noone!
I like to run, read, and veg on Tuesday nights watching NCIS. I'm gonna start camping again soon. I loved it as a kid, but was married to an idiot who's idea of roughing it was staying at the Holiday Inn Express instead of the Waldorf Astoria.
My life now is very uncomplicated and it works for me.
